Website Note

Saturday, August 8th, 2009

Thank you for taking the time at registration to make sure you were signed up for the Steller Flash updates.  Not everyone has remembered the last, very important step of confirming their subscription in their e-mails.  If you know any parents, students, or staff who are not yet receiving these updates, please remind them of this step.  If the e-mail was accidently deleted they can visit the website at ( and enter their e-mail address again.  Thank you for your assistance in helping make sure everyone is receiving the Steller Flash information.

E-mail Notifications

Wednesday, July 29th, 2009

We are finalizing the changeover to our new e-mail subscription service, Google Feedburner.  Many of you are still receiving your e-mail updates through our old, less reliable service.  If you get an abbreviated version of the articles instead of the complete version,  please visit the website at and register your e-mail address for the new service or you will stop receiving the updates.  The registration box is located below the address in the right hand column.  If you aren’t sure, type your e-mail address into the registration box and it will tell you.

Thank you,

Steller Webmasters

Managing Your Subscription

Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009

If your child has graduated or otherwise left Steller and you are no longer interested in receiving updates from this site, please click the “Unsubscribe Now” link at the bottom of your email. It is much easier for you to unsubscribe yourself than for us to go into the system and remove you from the list. Of course, if you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.

Website Change

Wednesday, September 24th, 2008

Hello everyone,

We’ve recently discovered some problems with our email subscription service. Due to these problems, we’re moving to a new service provider – Google FeedBurner. You will receive an email within the next week from containing a verification link – please click that link when you receive the email to continue getting updates from Steller.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at

EAS Test

Saturday, September 15th, 2007

This is a test of the Email Alert System. This is only a test. If this was a real email, it would include information about upcoming Steller events, news from the principal, and/or other useful remarks. Unlike the Emergency Alert system, there is very little chance that it would contain a message from the President of the United States or his representative.

Please disregard this post/email.

Thank you,

Steller Secondary School
