March 14th is official “PI Day” (3.14), but because that days falls during our spring break Steller is celebrating “Unofficial Pi Day” on March 23rd.  Any student who memorizes Pi out to 10 decimal places (3.1415926535) will get a free slice of pie that day, at lunch, in Jen’s room.  If you think you can memorize even more there will be a pi memorizing contest during lunch where the winner will win a free Math T-Shirt.  Questions?  See or email  Jen.
Looking for Pie donations for Pi Day
The math department is asking for pie donations to help with celebrating “Unofficial PI Day” on March 23rd.  We usually have about 200 students come to Jen’s room that day with their 10 decimal places of pi memorized.  If you can help out by bringing a pie or two please bring the pies to the kitchen on  that Friday morning.  We are also looking for a parent that is available during lunch that could help with serving the pie.  Please email neff_jennifer@asdk12.org  Thanks!
