Seminar on financial aid hosted by parent Paula DeLaiarro. Paula is working on her certificate in college counseling, and is willing to give us an evening seminar. She can address how financial need is determined, merit scholarships, federal and state programs, need-blind versus need-aware schools, and/or other areas of interest to students and parents. We can schedule the evening for early April if there is interest. This will give you Juniors and your families lots of time to prepare for the college application process. Please get to know Paula; she is an excellent resource on colleges, and she is one of the benefits of utilizing parent resources at Steller. Contact Karen, Paula or the office to express your preference for a Spring or Fall seminar date and any specific topics you would like covered.
