In addition, consider letting the legislator know about the needs of Steller and the ASD during the budget process.
Treasurer’s Report: Mary Tanner
$ 7, 029.41 in checking
$ 5, 705.00 (79 families donating)
$ 1,098.89 total from e-scrip; (229.84 in e-scrip just in the past month! 149 families signed up)
50 raffle tickets sold and 150 tickets still out; $2,000 in potential revenue
Joe Banta requested $150 for web site purchase reimbursement
Staff Report: Bob
Energy Efficiency report from student, James Crimp. He will present at a future Parent Meeting.
Academic Integrity: staff noticing plagiarism, test cheating/copying; staff/students considering creating a committee to deal with this
Wednesday Schedule: staff talked about pros/cons to give students feedback on their proposal; send e-mails to Bob w/ concerns, questions and he’ll funnel to the group; informational flyer being created about the Wednesday schedule.
Alternative Schools Fair coming in January; volunteers will be needed
Old Business
Nurse still needs supplies; staff will ask her for a specific list of needs
January registration; juniors/seniors/sophomores will be first and their classes will be registered right then – there WILL be long lines; students will need patience
Rochelle – “new parent wish list” (add this to the minutes)
Tina Tomsen – still needs support to put the quilt together; volunteers should contact Shannon, Jen or Tina
Computer Lab being used for games, goofing around. Parents, staff, and students are frustrated. Volunteer is needed to supervise this room before/after school. Rebekah Burns was called and asked to do this, but no one has called back. Bob will bring it to Op Group.
