Schedule Approval
Schedule Approval
If your schedule is approved, the principal will sign it at the top, take the top white sheet, and hand the other two back to you. Separate the yellow and pink and bring the yellow back to your counselor (again, go to the front of the lines). The pink sheet is your portion to take home so you can remember which classes you signed up for.
Success!
Once you are done signing up for classes you can go home, or sit around with friends and trade registration horror stories.
This system may be a little tedious, but it is all worth it to choose which classes you want to take.
What If I’m Sick or Out of Town on Registration Day?
If you are ever sick or have to be gone during registration, you can get someone else to register for you. Family members are good for this, if you don’t know any other students at Steller. Call your counselor and let them know before Registration Day. If you get another student for you, try to get one who either is trying for most of the same classes you are, or is in a different registration session. This way they can still get all their classes, too.
What was your registration horror story?
I’ve almost always gotten my classes…. I guess the one time I didn’t was when I didn’t get into flag football.
Sam, 12th
When I got put into classes with teachers I didn’t like.
Jeremy, 9th
My form was filled with black marks and lines crossing things out. It was horrible, and my entire schedule was changed, but I ended up getting into the right classes. It was eerie.
Cale, 8th
I hate it when parents save spaces for their kids. It’s not fair.
Ellen, 9th
I let a girl in front of me and she got into the last spot in the class. I’ve never had to, but I’ve heard rumors of people who have had to change theri entire schedule.
Kili, 8th
They scheduled three classes I needed in the same 2 hours, so I couldn’t get into one of the classes. It was horrible, and I think I ended up in tears.
Jeanne, 9th
The first registration was scary, but everything worked out fine.
Tara, 7th
When all of your classes fill up.
Brandon, 9th
Sometimes things seem scary, but everything usually ends up working fine, even if you have to do a little schedule switching.
Sarah, 11th
