What’s with all the Posters?
Steller students are allowed to put up posters in the hall without getting specific administrative approval, as is needed in other high schools. However you must put your name on your poster so any questions about it can be directed to you, as well as the date for easy reference.
Some of the reasons you or others might want to put up a poster are:
Notification of Meetings
Discussion of current events
To present information learned in a class
Proposing a mural
Gathering comments about your great peer taught class idea
Celebrating a birthday
Posters can be put up for any reason, but if they are offensive and hurtful they will be removed. In any case, posters should be taken down after two weeks.
Another place where you may make announcements is the whiteboard by the office. You must have a legitimate reason to write something on this - no one wants to see “Sally wuz here.” Usually, only meeting times are announced here. It is important to read the whiteboard every day because important class changes, schedule alterations, or meeting times could be announced.
