WE CAN! stands for Ways to Enhance Children’s Activity and<\/p>\n

Nutrition. Inlet View partners with Anchorage Center for Pediatrics and<\/p>\n

Anchorage Lutheran Church to offer four nights of free, family fun with food and<\/p>\n

fitness education. I could use 5 high school volunteers for each night,<\/p>\n

preferably 11th and 12th graders.<\/p>\n

I would highly recommend it for your students<\/p>\n

interested in nursing, medicine or physical education. It would be greatly<\/p>\n

appreciated if the students could commit to coming all four nights. The<\/p>\n

consistency helps build better relationships. The classes are scheduled for<\/p>\n

Tuesday, April 23 & 30 and May 7 & 14.\u00c2\u00a0 We begin the evening with dinner at<\/p>\n

5:45, the students would meet with their other team leaders from 6-6:20\u00c2\u00a0 and<\/p>\n

then the groups meet from 6:30 – 8:00.\u00c2\u00a0 The high school volunteers would play<\/p>\n

alongside the preschool through 6th grade students. The groups are led by ASD<\/p>\n

volunteers and UAA students. I attached two brochures that might be helpful.<\/p>\n

a video that introduces the event.<\/p>\n
