The P.O.W.E.R. group who were here in September to talk about drugs will be back next week, November 11th during advisory. They will give a presentation specifically on Marijuana. The presentation will begin at 10:15 and end at 10:45. If your adviser will allow you to participate, please plan to be ready to start at that time. Have your questions ready for them.<\/p>\n
An early reminder that on the last day before Thanksgiving break, Wed, Nov.\u00c2\u00a0 27th<\/sup> the school will close at 3pm.\u00c2\u00a0 Please plan accordingly.<\/p>\n Remember, advisory group baskets or donations are due next Monday, November 11.\u00c2\u00a0 Make sure that you have your theme or idea together today.\u00c2\u00a0 The advisory donations bring in a large amount of money for the auction and parent group likes to spend that money on projects that directly benefit the students like scholarships, funding peer-taughts or passages, Souper Steller, and funding some of the great ideas that came out of the All Community Meeting.\u00c2\u00a0 Make Steller a better place by helping with your advisory group donation!\u00c2\u00a0 And plan to come to the auction!<\/p>\n Poetry Out Loud<\/b>\u00c2\u00a0is a national poetry recitation contest that empowers students to express themselves through poetry.
