ANCHORAGE, AK \u00c2\u00ad The University of Alaska Anchorage Dental Assisting Program will offer a free dental sealant clinic for children on Saturday, April 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the UAA Dental Clinic.\u00c2\u00a0 The clinic is open to
\nchildren between the ages of 7 and 15 years who have newly erupted permanent teeth free of decay or have been advised that dental sealants will advance the health of their teeth.<\/p>\n
UAA\u00c2\u00b9s Dental Assisting Program prepares students to become skilled members of the dental health care team.\u00c2\u00a0 Assistants greatly increase the efficiency of the dentist in the delivery of oral health care and are valuable members
\nof the dental care team.\u00c2\u00a0 They can work in private or group practice, and may focus their skills in general dentistry or a specialized field such as orthodontics.<\/p>\n
