{"id":18709,"date":"2019-03-06T19:58:34","date_gmt":"2019-03-07T04:58:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.stellerschool712.org\/main\/?p=18709"},"modified":"2019-03-06T19:58:34","modified_gmt":"2019-03-07T04:58:34","slug":"steller-band-students-have-stellar-results","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.stellerschool712.org\/main\/steller-band-students-have-stellar-results\/","title":{"rendered":"Steller Band Students have Stellar Results!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Congratulations to Steller Band Students Jessie and Sebastien!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Steller band students, Jessie Hardison on flute and Sebastien Libbrecht on trumpet entered the ASD District Solo\/Ensemble Festival on Saturday, February 23 at U.A.A.\u00c2\u00a0 Jessie&#8217;s selection was &#8220;Musetta&#8217;s Waltz&#8221; from La Boheme by Giacomo Puccini, and Sebastien chose &#8220;1st Movement from Trumpet Concerto in E-flat Major&#8221; by Johann Hummel.\u00c2\u00a0 Sebastien earned the superior rating, thus he will advance to the state solo\/ensemble festival in May.\u00c2\u00a0 Jessie received the excellent rating.\u00c2\u00a0 &#8220;The District Solo\/Ensemble Festival is competitive. Sebastien really put a lot of effort in to his playing, and it paid off.\u00c2\u00a0 He has made state with solo three years in row, which is a great accomplishment&#8221;, said Mr. Toba, the band director.\u00c2\u00a0 &#8220;Jessie did her best.
