In a typical year most money raised through Parent Group goes to four areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Operational expenses<\/li>\n<li>School hosted events, activities and projects (Souper Steller, Ice Cream Social, Steller Olympics etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Steller Parent Group hosted events, activities and projects (Welcome BBQ, Staff Appreciation etc)<\/li>\n<li>Grants:\n<ul>\n<li>Steller Travel Intensives&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Intensives&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Program Support (Band trips, art supplies etc)<\/li>\n<li>Passages &amp; Special Projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The DRAFT budget for 2020-2021 was presented at the SPG meeting, and to Steller Staff, on October 13.&nbsp; &nbsp;The budget will be voted on and adopted at the SPG meeting on November 10.<\/p>\n<p>All community members are invited to provide feedback by emailing stellerparentgroup@gmail.com.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stellerschool712.org\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/2020-SPG-Proposed-Budget.pdf\">2020 SPG Proposed Budget<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Steller Parent Group is a charitable organisation to which contributions are tax-deductible.
