The purpose of SPG is to:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">enrich the lives of Steller students through the leadership of active parents and guardians,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">promote parent and guardian involvement in school activities and coordinate volunteers,&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">host community events during the school year,&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">raise funds to support school initiatives through fundraisers<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Save the Date &#8211; two fun events<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tuesday, August 13, 2024<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Join Steller Parent Group, Students, Staff and Families for the<\/span> <b>Annual Steller BBQ<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in Steller Secondary School field (or gym in case of bad weather). <\/span><b>Free!<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Friday, September 13<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Join Steller Parent Group, Students, Staff and Alumni for our <\/span><b>50th Anniversary Celebration<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Celebrate with Steller &#8211; Open House 2:00 to 5:00pm <\/span><b>Free!<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A Steller Evening Out &#8211; Stand Up Reception at The Bridge Co. 6:30 to 10:00pm (adults only). <\/span><b>Tickets on Sale Soon<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Monthly Meetings<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Steller Parent Group generally meets on the <\/span><b>second Tuesday of every month from 6:00pm to 7:30pm<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in person and on Zoom.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Every member of the Steller Community &#8211; Staff, Students and Parents\/Guardians are automatically members of SPG and welcome to attend, ask questions, and share their ideas.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stellerschool712.org\/main\/etting-involvedvolunteer\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participating in SPG has many benefits<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, including the opportunity to make connections with other parents and staff, and the opportunity to effectively make positive change.
