{"id":5745,"date":"2010-12-14T21:41:40","date_gmt":"2010-12-15T05:41:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.stellerschool712.org\/flash\/?p=5745"},"modified":"2010-12-14T21:41:40","modified_gmt":"2010-12-15T05:41:40","slug":"picking-up-your-students","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.stellerschool712.org\/main\/picking-up-your-students\/","title":{"rendered":"Picking up your students"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>One item that continues to be at the forefront of everyone\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s concerns is supervision of students.\u00c2\u00a0 As you all know classes are done at 2:05.\u00c2\u00a0 At 3:30 teachers leave for the evening.\u00c2\u00a0 Yet we still have kids that have not been picked up by that time.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 After4:00\u00c2\u00a0there is no one that can maintain a modicum of supervision for students. There is just too much that can happen with unsupervised kids.\u00c2\u00a0 We need the students to be picked up between\u00c2\u00a03:30 and 4:00pm.<\/p>\n<p>If you absolutely cannot pick your child up by\u00c2\u00a03:30 or 4:00pm\u00c2\u00a0give them an alternate location to rendezvous with you.\u00c2\u00a0 This is the best way to deal with that issue.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0Barnes and Nobles\u00c2\u00a0is one space a lot of parents use, one of the nearby eateries is the next logical choice.<\/p>\n<p>If you have an alternative place in mind please talk with you child about being picked up there.\u00c2\u00a0 But regardless, for the safety of your child we ask that you pick them up between 3:30 and 4:00pm or designate a secondary pick up sight.\u00c2\u00a0 At\u00c2\u00a0 4:00 students will be asked to leave the building.<\/p>\n<p>The exception would be if the students were in an after school activity.
