Guests have the opportunity to meet with faculty and staff, attend mock classes \/ workshops, tour the campus and enjoy lunch with other interested students.\u00c2\u00a0 New this year is the <strong>Preview Day Evening Session<\/strong>.\u00c2\u00a0 It will be held on <strong>Feb 3rd from 6-8 p.m<\/strong>. in UAA&#8217;s state-of-the-art planetarium.\u00c2\u00a0 This session is aimed at providing essential information in a simple quick format for those who are unable to join us for the full session on February 4.\u00c2\u00a0 The evening session will feature speakers from Admissions, Financial Aid and the Honors College, as well as a planetarium demonstration and feature film presented by planetarium staff.\u00c2\u00a0 For more information, or to register, please visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uaa.alaska.edu\/preview\">www.uaa.alaska.edu\/preview<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 Space is limited and pre-registration is required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>**\u00c2\u00a0 University of Alaska Day on CollegeWeek Live**<\/strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nUA Day on CollegeWeek Live is an opportunity to visit with representatives from all three UA campuses, as well as UA Statewide, via an online, virtual environment.\u00c2\u00a0 Presentations from each campus, as well as Q&amp;A sessions on Admissions, Financial Aid and other programs and will be available for viewing throughout the day.<\/p>\n<p>UA Day will take place on <strong>January 18 from 10:00 a.m. &#8211; 5:00 p.m.<\/strong> Alaska Time. To register, or to learn more about CollegeWeek Live, visit www.collegeweeklive.com.<\/p>\n<p><strong>**\u00c2\u00a0 Scholarships &amp; Financial Aid\u00c2\u00a0 **<\/strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nThe University of Alaska Anchorage Office of Student Financial Aid is offering two <strong>Scholarship Workshops on Jan 21<sup>st<\/sup> and Feb 3rd.<\/strong> Financial Aid\/FAFSA Workshops will be offered during February. For date, time, location information, visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uaa.alaska.edu\/financialaid\">www.uaa.alaska.edu\/financialaid<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>**\u00c2\u00a0 Reminders &amp; Deadlines\u00c2\u00a0 **<\/strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nApplications for admission to the Fall 2011 semester are now due June 15.<\/p>\n<p>*\u00c2\u00a0 Scholarship applications for the 2011-2012 academic year are due February 15.<br \/>\n*\u00c2\u00a0 Students must have applied for admission and should have submitted a FAFSA<\/p>\n<p>*\u00c2\u00a0 Supporting documentation also due on this date (if applicable)<br \/>\n*\u00c2\u00a0 For students concurrently enrolled in classes at UAA, the Add\/Drop period for regular term<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> courses ends on January 21, 2011.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>*\u00c2\u00a0 UAA campus visits are available all year for individuals and groups.
