Alaska Science and Engineering Fair meeting – Wednesday 9/28

Alaska Science and Engineering Fair meeting

Wednesday 9/28 – Brian’s room at lunch
This is a great chance to learn about practicing real science individually, or as part of a group. Potential topics will be discussed, as well as how participation can benefit students through scholarships, college applications, future jobs and potentially also prizes and travel. See Brian if you would like a lunch provided.

Student pick up

Steller Parents,

We, at Steller, understand the challenges there are with a school with no bus services in picking up students. Students should be picked up by 4 pm when the school and office closes. At 4:15 pm we ask students to walk or take a bus to an alternative site such as Barnes and Noble and be picked up there. We have no coverage after this time at the school. Steller ID cards now have a chip in them that gives them free bus passes on city buses. Thanks for your help in this matter.
