Zoom Dances ad hoc
Steller’s advisory groups sponsor dances throughout the year. Parent chaperones are required, generally for 2 hr. blocks of time.
Staff Appreciation Fall/Spring
2020 has proven to be a challenging year for everyone. One thing many parents have recognized is how hard the teachers and staff have been working to continue providing students with the high-quality education we are used to, while also maintaining all the little things that make Steller a special place to learn. Help plan how we can show staff our appreciation!
We won’t be able to run our usual Steller Auction fundraiser this year, but there are still ways we can be raising funds to support our community goals.
These are two-week periods in which the school ends regular classes and allows students and teachers to focus on a single subject the entire day. Popular intensives include winter wilderness camping, national and international travel, various outdoor activities, photography, video production, mentorships in the community, art, and cooking. We remain hopeful that there will be some sort of intensive in the spring this year.
Parent Group monthly
Interested parents help organize events and provide support for the student body and staff. Gives input to school policy and procedures. Parents meet the first Tuesday of each month from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. Watch for the announcements on the Steller Flash (email announcements). There are a number of open positions including the leadership team and committees.
