Photos needed

Steller is updating the website.  We need some photos of current or past students doing some of the fabulous things they do at Steller, during Intensives, volunteering in the community, or participating at another school’s interscholastic event.  If you have any pictures you would like to see on the website, please send them to webmaster @stellerschool712.org with a short, ten words or less, description of what was happening when the photo was taken.  Identifiable student pictures must have the student’s and parent’s permission to post and let us know if you want to be identified with your first name or just “Steller student”.  There is no guarantee we will use all submitted photos.

Parking Complaints

I have had some parent complaints regarding folks parking their cars and leaving them in the mornings.  Please do not park and leave your vehicles at the front entrance.  This poses potential danger to our students. See the diagram above for the Steller traffic plan.  (Click on the picture to enlarge it.)

Thank you for your cooperation.

Going Public: A Community Art Intensive

Are you artistic?  Do you have connections?  Would you like to volunteer ?
Join our Intensive!  Get in on the ground floor, planning stage 🙂

Students will work closely with the Downtown Partnership and other
Steller business partners to produce artwork out in the local community:
outdoor murals downtown, sidewalk-chalk art, and sculptures in public parks
are just some of the possibilities.  All the art will be student-designed,
with students working both individually and in groups.  This provides an
opportunity to get our name out there and remind people what Steller¹s all
about, as well as let students make their mark on the local environment.

Sound like fun?  See Nina asap 🙂
