College Application Info

This is a fun and easy way for students to get a HEAD START on the college application and research process. I will be helping juniors and sophomores create accounts on both the common app and college board as well as giving them special tools and techniques when looking for colleges that will best suit them.

Got 15 Minutes? The Steller Library Could Use Your Help

images-1The Steller Library could use help. We are organizing our fiction by genre—similar to the way Barnes and Noble organizes, or the public library.

You can help by stopping by and helping us sort our books. Mornings are best- even if you only have 15 minutes, we would love the help.

This will make our library more accessible and increase circulation. Plus it will be fun—and likely a bit messy. Come join us if you can!

Please email me: hall-jones_jennifer@asdk12.org if interested.

–Naval Academy Summer Seminar–

The United States Naval Academy Summer Seminar is a fast-paced, six-day experience for high achievers who have completed their junior year in high school. Summer Seminar teaches students about life at the Naval Academy, where academics, athletics, and professional training play equally important roles in developing our nation’s leaders. Students who are interested in pursuing an appointment to one of the nation’s service academies and serving the country as an officer, are encouraged to apply for the Naval Academy’s Summer Seminar. Some scholarships are available for tuition and travel on a financial-need basis. Students may inquire after selection.

Application opens on January 13.
