This fall, our community participated in a survey that sought to collect the topics to be discussed at the All Community Meeting. A committee of parents, students and staff met to review the contributed ideas and developed the following break-out groups for this Thursday’s meeting:Â
- Steller Q&A; answering the frequently asked questions
- Post-Graduation; being real-world ready (i.e. college and job readiness)
- Extracurricular Activities; what’s going on & what could happen at Steller
- Enhanced Academics; the nitty-gritty, nose-to-the-grindstone stuff
- Brainstorming; for everything under the sun
- The Steller Standard & Attitude; are we there yet?
- Steller Resources; more than classes and clubsÂ
It would still be great if we had a few more volunteers to help serve dinner starting at 5:00 pm so if you’re available PLEASE come and help serve up some spaghetti J

Flu Clinic Nov 17, 2015
Health Services has finally received more FluMist vaccine, so we will have our students’ flu clinic on November 17, 2015 in the morning hours prior to lunch. Thank you to those who have already turned in their student’s flu consents to the nurse and your patience. If you have not already had your child vaccinated and wish to have them vaccinated with the seasonal flu this year, attached is the consent form. Consent MUST be turned in to the nurse for proper verification no later than 11/13/15. I need exact pupil count prior to picking up vaccine the morning of, which will need careful count monitoring and safe storage.
Thank you. Annette Johansen, RN Steller School Nurse
REMINDER: All Community Meeting Nov 12th, 6 – 8 pm
It’s almost time for the All Community Meeting.
Teachers, students, and parents are invited to our first semester All Community Meeting on Thursday, November 12th from 6:00-8:00pm.
A spaghetti dinner will be provided prior to the meeting starting at 5:00 pm.
The purpose statement for this meeting is:

We received a great number of ideas submitted through the survey and we’re grateful to those that took the time to tell us what is important for you to hear at this meeting. The Advisory Board has come up with the break-out group content based on that feedback and we’re excited to explore your thoughts and ideas further at the All Community Meeting.
