Seniors and your families are invited to the Class of 2015 Senior breakfast! The sophomore class will be serving breakfast in the MPR on Tuesday from 7:30-8:30am. Seniors, bring your families and your appetites!

Congratulations to junior Kacy G. for winning first prize in the Pupil+Paper project. She designed a beautiful avant-garde gown out of paper. It is currently being displayed at the ASD Education Center. With her first place award came a $4000 scholarship. Congratulations, Kacy!

Congratulations to junior Bob M. who was accepted into the United World Colleges (UWC) movement. UWC is a highly competitive international program to bring together future leaders with campuses around the world. Bob was one of 50 American students chosen for the program. He will be spending his next two years in Changshu, China to receive an IB diploma. Congratulations, Bob!

The Sophomore Class will be cooking breakfast for the Senior Class and their families on Tuesday, April 21st. We are in need of waffle irons for that day. If you are willing to lend your electric waffle iron, please put your name and a contact number on the bottom of it with masking tape and drop it off in the office before April 21st. ASD iSchool is again offering a limited number of summer options for 7th and 8th grade students who want to take an online class.

Current 7th graders who have a teacher recommendation may take Algebra Readiness to prepare them for Algebra I in the fall. Preference is given to pre-algebra students. Math 7 students will be accepted if space is available and by teacher recommendation.

Current 8th graders can choose from Algebra Readiness (with teacher recommendation), Astronomy, or Health Opportunities through PE.

These courses all have high school credit that will be posted to their transcript in Fall 2015. Registration forms and course information is posted on our website at http://www.asdk12.org/schools/asdischool/pages/coursesSummer2015.html.

Summer classes start June 8th and end July 17th.  See Algebra Readiness flyer for more specific information regarding that class. If you have other needs for classes not listed, please contact us to see if we can make it happen for your student.

Middle school counselors will be able to enroll and schedule students in the ASD iSchool Summer track this year. See attached instructions to guide you through the process HERE  and HERE

Your FDCC will collect summer school funds at your site and mark the payment information on the registration forms or parents can pay online through Parent Connect.

Greetings Earthlings!  Blast off with this year’s out of this world new yearbook!  For this quarter only it costs only $65.  That’s no moon, that’s a great deal!  Hurry at warp speed to grab forms from the office if you wish to get a yearbook.  Don’t space out, buy a yearbook before they are all blasted away.
