A scholarship opportunity for students!

Spread the Word!!!
The 6 Reasons Family Foundation is offering 4-$500 scholarships to youth who attend the Candlelight Vigil and are then moved to make a difference in their community. Scholarships will be awarded in the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District (1) and the Anchorage and Mat-Su Borough School Districts (3).  Submissions are due December 10, 2010 and may come in any creative form – an essay, poetry, song or video – and must be accompanied by an application.

Just a Reminder:

Do you have anything lying about the house that you don’t need anymore? The Tenth Graders are still collecting items for their Garage Sale coming up on the 27th and 28th. So bring in your unused art, games, clothes (washed and presentable, please), or anything else that could be another person’s treasure. Items are being collected daily in the office. We’ve had some great items coming in, a big thank you to all who have donated so far.
