The time to welcome back our Steller students for the 2025/2026 school year is fast approaching. And with that, comes the world renowned Steller back-to-school BBQ! As many of our returning families know, Steller Parent Group can’t make the bbq happen without your help. Below you will find the link to our volunteer signup. The new kitchen will bring much needed updates to appliances and enhance our students’ experiences as baristas for Temple of the Bean, in cooking intensives, and during community events.

Advocate for funding Alaska’s schools
Steller Families,
Please join Steller Parent Group in holding our leaders accountable for funding Alaska’s schools.
There is more to do!
- maintaining student classroom sizes
- retaining good teachers
- having school nurses
- sports programs
- gifted programming
- school counselors
- a quality education for your children
- and so many other programs that require more funding
The House will vote on HB 69 to increase the BSA this week!
HOW TO ADVOCATE – MADE EASY
- Just click on the “public opinion message” Click on “Support” and root bill “HB 69”, then say a few words about why you support increased funding to our schools.
- Sign the Great Alaska Schools Petition to the governor.
- Call your representative.
- Email your representative. (Rep.FirstName.LastName@akleg.
