Fund-a-Project at the Steller Auction

We have two great Fund-a-Project Items in our Live Auction this Year!

Last year, many of us had the opportunity to use our bid numbers to give directly into a fund for Souper Steller.  Our students received hot soup and homemade bread for most Fridays of the year, and we, the donors, were able to help in a big way without feeling like we should buy something that we didn’t really want.

We will be brining you the same opportunity this year.  The projects that we have chose to fund directly will be:

Souper Steller

  • This beloved event likely needs no introduction.  But, if you’ve never heard of it before, students, parents and staff work together to make soup and bread on Thursday afternoons and then serve it on Friday.  This costs about $300/week.  What a deal!  Souper Steller needs about $2000 to finish out the school year.

Steller Lounge Rejuvenation Project

  • The plans for this project arose out of our last All Community Meeting.  The team is planning to make the Lounge area more open and inviting to students and visitors alike.  Currently there is a plan in place that will cost in the range of $14,000.  The team is looking at multiple funding sources but the auction would like to give them a good start.  Learn more about the committee’s plans at the auction.
