Steller Auction – Saturday Nov 4th
Here it comes – the event you have been waiting for!
The Steller Auction
Help create Steller’s biggest event!
The Steller Auction is only six weeks away. Here’s what you need to know:
* Save the date on your calendar: Saturday, November 4th, 6:00-8:00 pm (auction starts at 6:30).
* This is our most important fundraiser to keep Steller special, with travel and much else.
* It is loads of fun, it is part of our community, and it happens because everyone pitches in.
* Judith Davis is organizing (THANKS JUDITH!!!) and she needs student and parent volunteers now to help with lots of little tasks. Contact Judith now at jlevans99516@gmail.com.
* Start thinking about what you can contribute for the auction. For example; a service, an in-kind donation, or something from a local merchant.
Help make it happen, create community, and keep Steller strong. Get in touch with Judith to help: jlevans99516@gmail.com

Elder Youth Conference at Alaska Federation of Natives
Students of Alaska Native or Native American heritage have been invited to participate in the Elder Youth Conference at the Alaska Federation of Natives on October 16-18. Nurse Annette collected a list of names that were posted to the office whiteboard. Students then visited Becky to receive a paper with the theme and requirements, so that each student would be informed. Those who wish to participate should contact Becky in her classroom to fill out the online application with ASD Title VII, who will then take care of the registration. This step needs to be done this week.
