There are three spots left on the Iceland intensive in May! Come see geysers, waterfalls, volcanoes, and more! Iceland powers much of the island with geothermal energy and we get to tour a geothermal plant. Come learn how the future of energy will be impacted. Or come to eat different food! Don’t delay. Math lab begins next week!!
Every Monday and Wednesday 7th period in Marla’s room.
There will be two math teachers present (on a rotating schedule), at every lab, to help any student that wants it!!

Iceland Travel Scholarship Form are due. Forms can be picked up and turned in to the office, but they are due Thursday, September 7.

6:45 – 6:53 – P.4 (2 minute passing)
6:55 – 7:03 – P.5 (2 minute passing)
7:05 – 7:13 – P.6 (2 minute passing)
7:15 – 7:25 – Parents meet with IS class teachers and any classes they missed
7:30 – 8:00 – Parent group meeting in the MPR

Parent Group Meeting – Agenda for Tuesday September 5th
The Parent Group welcomes you to the first official meeting of the 2017-18 school year on Tuesday the 5th. The meeting starts promptly at 6:00pm in Kens’s room. Below is a link to the draft agenda and we welcome your input. All inquiries regarding Parent Group should be directed to stellerparentgroup@gmail.com. We welcome you to join in the conversation and to bring to your ideas to the table. We have a lot to discuss this first meeting, and we hope to cover it all. Currently, we have a fair amount of vacancies for leadership in multiple areas, and we could really use your help. We hope to see you there. Also, If you would like to make a donation to the group while you are there, Kevin Hedin (Treasurer) will be there to take your donations. All donations are tax deductible.
Iceland Scholarships available!
If you are interested in going to Iceland and want to apply for a scholarship, the form needs to be turned in by Thursday, September 7. That is next Thursday!! It is very soon, but open registration for Iceland ends on September 15, and decisions on scholarships need to be made before then. So, stop in the office or come see Jason to pick up a scholarship form. Don’t let this opportunity pass you by
