The Steller Advisory Board is being called together for a SPECIAL MEETING just prior to the Parent Group Meeting on Wednesday, April 6th at 5:30pm (Parent Group meets at 6:00pm). The only agenda item needing attention is to discuss the April 21st All Community Meeting. All parents, students and staff are WELCOME!

Many students have auditioned and are excited to perform for you!

Cost:  $5 with a $20 cap per family. Proceeds go to CES travel fund to learn new ideas from outside Alaska to strengthen the program at Steller.

We need desserts donated with the leftovers being passed along to kids at the overnighter.

Steller has a community gardening opportunity for you. Up to four Steller families are invited to plant and maintain a garden with plants of your choice for your use in the raised beds at Steller over the summer. Please let Jonas, Becky or Leigh Anne know if your family is interested. Families can take turns with watering responsibilities during the summer. There will also be a campground host at Steller with a gardening plot.

In April students will be preparing the garden in an after-school club sponsored by Jonas, Leigh Anne and Becky on Wednesdays with Michelle from Yarducopia. During three days of our May Martian intensive Simone and Becky will have experts to guide us in gardening. Gardening will pay off in so many ways—outdoor activities, community involvement, and food or flowers.
