Happy Holidays!

happy holidaysI realize I am not the wordiest (written :)) principal in Steller’s history, but I do want you to know that I am a contender for keeping the passion. What an AMAZING school! My heart is warmed by the enthusiasm and excitement that our community shows through intensives. The effort from staff, volunteers, and guest professionals has been awesome. Walking the hall, I see rockets, forensic scientists, and the quicken step of kids racing to another room to test their robotic cars. Functional Art shows creativity through birdhouses, tables and mirrors, while baking has been a success (although they share much too much)! Historical gamers are referring to their research as they play, fencers are bouting, storytellers are telling their stories, movie goers have learned the real meaning behind movies and the students of Jujitsu are in grapple. I hear the Wilderness Responders are saving each other and to top it off, I see the skiers and boarders with smiles on their faces, morning and night. Students are interacting with new friends. We are busy, we are learning, and we are having fun. Steller stimulates a good life!

We will be back with academic fervor in January, I wish you all an exciting and safe holiday break.
