A Steller band student, Isabelle “Bella” LÂ is selected to participate for the 2015 ASAA All-State Music Festival. She went through a very competitive audition. Adding to this great accomplishment, Bella even earned the first chair for the All-State Orchestra flute section. “I am so proud of Bella’s dedication and commitment to excel in the flute performance,” said Mr. Toba, the Steller band director. “She has generated the interest in auditioning for the All-State in future for the other band members.” The All-State Gala Concert will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at West High School, starting at 6 p.m. Public is invited.
Help create Steller’s biggest event!
The Steller Auction is being planned, here’s what you need to know:
- Â Date TO BE DETERMINED
- This is our most important fundraiser to keep Steller special, with travel and much else
- It is loads of fun, it is part of our community, and it happens because everyone pitches in
- Janine Neshiem is organizing (THANKS JANINE!!!) and she needs volunteers now to help with lots of little tasks. Contact Janine now at nesheims@gci.net
- Â Start thinking about what you can contribute for the auction: a service, an in-kind donation, or something from a local merchant.
Help make it happen, create community, and keep Steller strong. Get in touch with Janine to help:Â nesheims@gci.net

7th grade students and parents
The seventh grade class is going to celebrate the end of first quarter with a tie dying party on Thursday the 15th, right after school at Steller, from 2:15-3:30.
Students should turn in t-shirt designs by the end of the day on Monday to Simone, Troy, or Leigh Anne.
On Thursday every seventh grader should bring a white cotton t-shirt to dye and plan on staying after school. We will be voting on designs and those will be screen printed on the shirts after they are tie-dyed.
