AG Announcements 11/24/14

Intensive Fee deadline reminders: All Intensive fees are due to the office no later than December 5th. If you would like to apply for a fee waiver the deadline for waivers is this Wednesday, November 26th. Waiver forms are in the office. Students without a fee waiver or payment will be moved to another intensive.

Closure reminder: The building will be closing this Wednesday at 3pm, please plan accordingly.

Costa Rica intensive students: Remember that the required forms are due at our next lunch meeting, next Wednesday, Dec. 3rd.

Seniors-Please come to a class meeting on Tuesday at 12:00 in Leigh Anne’s room. We need to set up prom committees.

This and that:
• office has binders for students who would like them
• lost and found is FULL, please collect your belongings
• donate cup of noodles to nurse, she is out (these are for students who FORGOT lunch)
• please clean up after yourself, it is your responsibility to dispose of your trash
• student copier is now in the Library
• student utensils are now in the Lounge (below the microwave)

Going to the Dogs

inner peace dogDo you have a dog? Want to know more about how to care for and train your canine? Then come to the presentation by Taelahna Bennett this Wednesday at noon in Ken’s Room. Reed’s dog, Renn, will be co-starring in this presentation that will give you a great start in doing great things for your dog! See you then.

      1. Concerning Steller’s grant for 16,000 for furniture.
      2. Passed a motion forming a new Lounge Committee, composed of Staff, Students, and Parents, to make recommendations for the use of state funds.
    3. Parent Group
      1. Concerning the control and use of the funds raised by Parent Group.
      2. Passed a motion to form a small group to examine how them money raised by parent group is dispensed, containing staff, students, and parents.
    4. CES Grant Request
      1. Concerning a request for partial reimbursement of expenses for attendance to the 2014 CES Fall Forum.
      2. Passed
    5. Discussion Items
      1. Ad-Board Purpose
        1. A discussion on how the Steller Government functions and if that is how Steller wants it to function.
        2. Dedicated next Ad-Board meeting, December 10, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., for examination and decision on Steller Government Functioning.
  • Representatives are to spread information of the time and purpose of next ad-board meeting.
  1. Planet Steller Water Bottle Refill Station: A presentation on the installment of a water bottle refill station at Steller and receiving feedback from Ad-board
