ASD iSchool 2014-2015 Facts and Registration Information
ASD iSchool is a very successful program that supplements face-to-face options for students in grades 9-12 as well as 6th graders who qualify for early entry into Pre-Algebra and some Middle School students needing advanced math courses. Â ASD iSchool passing rates for the 2013-14 school year were over 90%. Â The goal of ASD iSchool is to allow students to have more flexibility in their schedule by taking a class online rather than in a traditional classroom setting. Â Whether a student is new to the district and needs to earn a required credit, or simply a student who would like to free up space in his/her schedule, ASD iSchool offers the opportunity to take both core and elective classes as an original course attempt.
Successful online students should be self-motivated with strong reading and writing skills and must be enrolled as an ASD student in either a comprehensive or alternative school. Â Though the program is flexible, students are encouraged to pace themselves according to the suggested class due dates in order to receive an accurate grade for both progress and final grade marking periods. Â Most classes are NCAA approved. Check the ASD iSchool website<http://www.asdk12.org/schools/asdischool/pages/>, for more details on current course offerings and registration information.
If you have any questions, or would like to register for a class, see John in the office.
