Only two days into our Souper Steller fundraiser and already we have $2150 in donations!!!

Wow!!  In one day generous families have donated $750 to the Souper Steller fund!  Even though we had a donation link that didn’t work many of you found your way to the website to make a donation.  Apologies from the webmaster.

Most Fridays in the winter our kids are treated to a homemade and super healthy soup meal offered free of charge through the tireless efforts of Steller parents, students and staff.   This program is usually funded through our annual fall auction, but since that is postponed until the spring we are asking you to please donate now.  We are setting a goal of $3000 in donations which will cover most of the soup Fridays for the rest of the school year.

Consider providing:

• Soup, bread and sides for the entire school for one day:  $350
• 5 pots of soup:  $250
• 2 pots of soup:  $100
• 1 pot of soup: $50
• Bread:  $25
• Fruit: $40
• Any amount is appreciated!

On Wed. the 26th of November the school will be closed at 3pm.  This is so everyone can go home and get ready for Thanksgiving Day.

This week’s advisory group announcements:  AG 11-10

Steller’s Arts and Craft Fair will be held on November 22nd from 10-4.

It is not too late to rent a booth. Call Denise at 562-4950 or email stellercraftfair@gmail.com for information.

The winter concert for Steller Band and Orchestra has been set on Tuesday, December 2 in the MPR from 7:00 p.m. to 8. All Steller community members, as well as relatives and friends, are invited for one hour of instrumental music. An after concert gathering will follow: Parents, we would appreciate if you bring some treats.

This app will open in the upper left hand of your screen whenever you are shopping at a participating company, when you click on it, it shows you how much you will earn at that site and even shows you if there are any coupons available.  It is SO SIMPLE.

I have had the app on my computer for over a year and have not been bothered by extra advertising or emails.  The only downside is that is looks like, for now, the app only works on computers, not handheld devices.
