- Steller’s annual Open House is next Thursday, February 7th from 6:30-8. Student volunteers are needed to give school tours and to help run a booth in the MPR. If you are interested see your advisor or Jen for details.
- Reminder:Â Steller is not doing parent-student-teacher conferences until the end of the year so we will have full days of school the week of February 11th. We will however have an in-service day on the 15th.
- Do you have a great idea for an intensive? There is a suggestion box in the office where you can put down your idea. Staff looks at those ideas before deciding what they will teach during intensives.
- The sock drive has been extended for one week. Some advisory groups did not get the announcement that has been in the op group notes, the flash, and personally delivered so we are extending the deadline for one more week. If you would like to donate socks to the children in transition program and Beans café please bring them to your advisor. Philip’s group will collect and tally the points. The group with the most points will win a pizza party and if the whole school beats Philip’s advisory group senior Wright Franklin will shave his head!!!!

INSPIRE Souper Steller Donations!
Parents and Students,
I posted a request on DonorsChoose for funds to support our “Souper Steller” project. Unfortunately, to actually procure money or gift cards for food purchase was a HUGE ordeal. I will ask later when I figure all this out; however, for now, I simply requested funding for soup bowls and spoons. Below  is a very important email with a February 2nd deadline. If you spread the word or have your friends spread the word on Facebook, it will certainly help our cause. Make certain people donate by Saturday, February 2, 2013 and use the match code INSPIRE during checkout to DOUBLE their donations to our Souper Soup Project! (DonorsChoose advised that we not use the name of the school.) If we have all the supplies needed for serving, we can use the funds we currently have for food.
Please, please, please spread the word today! All the details are below. FYI, Alyse Galvin supplied the great picture for DonorsChoose of our kids eating soup.
