Hooray for Snow Day!

Sunny weather, beautiful ice (rinks), tasty hot chocolate and s’mores… Other than more snow…. An EWD (Epic Winter Day).

Participation was high during Rosa’s morning yoga class, where over 150 students did a yoga session in the gym.  I realize I need to stretch MORE!  And I am not alone 🙂

It was a wonderful to see our students fold the 5/6 graders into their groups as they participated in the field activities.  In addition to high energy and widespread smiles, I have had wonderful feedback from Inletview and Chugach Op. that their students had fun and are buzzing around wanting to attend Steller.

A “Shout Out” to Steller:

Students for initializing, planning, and finding fun in the day

Teachers for planning, backdrop support, participation and their enthusiastic natures

Parents for their support (in general.. Boots, coats hats), planning, and participation

Special Thanks to:

Victoria and Tom Weindel, our Super Steller Parents-Michelle Brannon, Alyse Galvin, Joe Banta, and all the other parents who helped.

Allison B, Haleigh B, Andrea B, Aisha M, Jonas B, Tate M, and all the other students that took a leadership role and helped.
