Attention Steller Families
Directory Update
We are excited to announce that we will be using Membership Toolkit for our directory as we have transitioned from our previous directory.
We invite you to visit stellerschool.
If you have previously entered your contact details into MySchoolAnywhere, this has been migrated and you will only need to verify your details. If you did not join the directory before, now is a great time! Be sure to use the same email address as MySchoolAnywhere so that it picks up all your old info.
Here’s what you need to do:
- Go to stellerschool.
membershiptoolkit.com . - Click on the Register/Login button.
- If you already have an account with another organization that uses Membership Toolkit you can use the same email and password to login. You can then proceed to the numbered steps below.
- Select “Create Account” and fill in the name, email, and password information. Use the same email address as MySchoolAnywhere so that it picks up all your previously entered info.
- Click “verify my email” and then check your email for a link to complete the process. The link expires in 2 hours. If you do not receive the email, check your spam or junk folders.
- Once you have verified your email address, log back in and finish the registration process.
- Complete the Parent/Family and Student Information.
- Complete the Directory/Publish Preferences.Once the Primary Account is set up, the Primary User can “invite” other email addresses to access his/her account. This allows the Secondary User to have their own login information, but still have access to the family account.

All are invited to join Steller Parent Group Tuesday, December 10th, 6:00-7:30 in Ken’s room. This month’s agenda includes updates and upcoming events to be aware of from staff and students, volunteer opportunities to help support students and the Steller community, and planning for the January 24th Steller Auction and gathering at 49th State Brewery. Volunteers are needed for spring semester to coordinate Souper Steller, help with the auction, and help coordinate Parent Group as Co-Chair. If you’re unable to join us Tuesday but are interested in volunteering, please contact Ann Mayo-Kiely: mayokiely@msn.com.

We need your help to make the Steller Auction on January 24 a fabulous success.
If you are interested in volunteering during the day for set up, or at the event, please join me for a 15 minute meeting after the regular Parent Group Meeting on Tuesday, December 10.
We will need help with things like transporting Auction Items from school to 49th State Brewing Company during the day, set up, and helping out with check out at the end of the night.

Teacher appreciation lunch – Tuesday Nov 19
Parents, please join us for a teacher appreciation lunch hosted my Steller Parent Group– this is a great opportunity to meet and thank teachers in an informal social setting.
Tuesday November 19th 11:45-12:30 in the multipurpose room. Soup, bread and salad will be provided. Potluck contributions are welcome, but please come even if you aren’t able to bring food. RSVP here:

Steller Parent Group Tuesday November 12, 6 -7:30 pm in Ken’s room: join us to hear updates from students and teachers, learn about upcoming events, and volunteer to help with the Steller Auction (Jan 24th!), a lunch with teachers and parents, Souper Steller, and other opportunities to support all the great student-led work at Steller. Need Parents to Host Grade Level Socials
Dear Steller Families,
The Steller Parent Group is looking for parents to host a grade level parent social in their homes (or coordinate one at some other location). The hope is to help build community by getting to know each other, and the idea is very simple: the host chooses a date and time, puts out an invitation to grade level parents, and everyone who comes brings something to share.
We have hosts for grades 7 & 9, and are looking for the following:

Parent Group Meeting – Thurs Oct 10th 6pm
Thursday October 10th 6:00 pm in Ken’s room is the first meeting of Steller Parent Group. This month’s meeting has been moved from the usual Tuesday to Thursday. Join us to hear about upcoming events, updates from the staff and students, election of officers, progress on this year’s Auction, and other volunteer needs for the coming year. Parent Group raises funding and organizes volunteers to support intensives, special projects proposed by students and teachers, and events throughout the school year. Parent Group is also a great place to connect with other families for help in making the most of Steller’s unique opportunities and navigating challenges you may run into. This is a fairly informal group and all are welcome, as are new agenda items or topics of discussion. Decisions are made by vote of everyone present at the meetings. We are in need of a Treasurer– please email if you may be interested or willing. If you would like to add agenda items or have any questions, please email: stellerparentgroup@gmail.com.
