Yearbook Deadlines
Hey Steller,
Upcoming photos needed for February 10th are:
- passage photos (from last semester or this semester)
- your zoom classroom from home (office area),
- and art from Steller students!

For SENIORS:
New deadlines! We at Yearbook understand making senior pages are difficult. We have extended the Senior Pages deadline to February 20th.
February 20th will also be the final day to turn in baby and 7th grade photos for the “Guess That Senior” and the “Glow Up” page. Remember this is the last day since the yearbook needs to be submitted 9 days later so it is crucial we have everything either before the 20th or on the 20th.

Learn about Children’s Lunch Box at SPG Meeting
The Steller Nutrition Committee has been exploring ways to ensure all students have access to nutritious food. Join us Tuesday January 12 at 6:00 pm to hear about some of the options we have explored. Special guests from the Children’s Lunch Box will join us to tell more about the programs they offer.

Material Pick Up on January 6
Hello Students, Parents and Staff,
Third Quarter class book and material pick up will be Wednesday, January 6, 2021 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, please check with your teachers. You may also return class books and materials from second quarter.
We still have the drop-off box available Monday thru Friday, located outside the front doors on the bench to return books or materials between 7:30 am and 3:00 pm.

Steller Parent Group Meeting Tuesday 12 at 6:00
All parents/guardians, students and staff are automatically part of the Steller Parent Group and welcome to attend meetings, share ideas and vote on decisions. This month in addition to regular updates from Reed, staff, and OpGroup we will be discussing the progress of the Student Nutrition Committee and a request for funding to support student recruitment for the 2021-2022 school year. We are still accepting funding requests as well.

Yearbook Photos: Final 2020 Update!
Thank you so much to everyone that has submitted your portraits and other themed photos! We have almost half participation in some of the grades, so that is wonderful!
If you are submitting a photo to opgsml@gmail.com don’t forget to include your full name, grade and the theme your photo is for with a short explanation.

Steller Parent Group wishes the entire Steller Community – students, families, teachers and staff – a wonderful holiday. We hope the next two weeks provide opportunities to rest, reset and enjoy yourselves, and are looking forward to a better 2021 for all of us.
We particularly want to thank Steller staff for the effort they have made this year to support our students and provide them with the best educational opportunities.

Wanted: Yearbook Photos!
Hello steller families!
As finals week is coming close to an end so is the upcoming deadlines for Yearbook.
We are close to the 45% mark for portraits turned in! We would love to have 100% participation if possible from the Steller community. This means in the next 4 days we need 55% of the portraits turned in to reach our goals. Currently yearbook needs 170 portraits. At the bottom of an email a guideline has been given to help take the portrait photos at home.
Yearbook is also in dire need of out-of-school activities photos, homemade mask photos, siblings, best friends (with stuffed animals), and transportation photos.
Please submit your photos before December 20th!
If you have any questions about submissions please let us know.
The price of yearbooks will be going up soon as well, make sure to get those ordered here.
The price will go up January 1st to $50 a book.
After the break, we will be looking for student art photos, home study area photos, and many more. If you already have photos that fit these categories feel free to send them in early!
We wish all Steller community members a healthy and happy winter break.
Yearbook committee
A note from SPG : The yearbook committee consists of a handful of staff and students (who are volunteering their time). Many ASD schools aren’t going to have a yearbook at all, so we at Steller are so lucky that people have stepped up to do this for us! The volunteers still have many steps to do to properly record each photo into the yearbook software after they receive them. So waiting until the last minute means more work for them during the holidays. Let’s help them out!
